I always have this curiosity what are the daily activities or routine for my friends with their respective partners? I wonder everyday is also sunshine and sugar without any arguments?
Well, I'm the least romantic person on this planet, so yeah, there's is no fireworks nor magic to make my relationship colourful. I did try to make my relationship to be exciting one, at least it's not so routine and my intentions are all good for the relationship.
But it doesn't work the way supposed to be. Somehow, it is kinda burden for him. Somehow, I was portrayed as primadonna that everything has to accommodate me.
Trust me, I'm not that primadonna. In fact, I'm kinda liberal in people-to-people relationship on daily basis. I would be more than happy to listen to suggestions to make things better. It will be even better if they could lead and make decisions as well.
If you're reading this blog and you're complaining that you don't have a partner in your life, please don't be. It's nothing great actually, it's just part and parcel of life, I'm pretty sure you have it eventually.
Trust me, having a lover in your life is not something overwhelming like supernova in the sky. Life goes on. You get scolded sometimes, you get irked and loneliness will visit you sometimes. Worst still, you have to swallow the blames just to avoid your partner from being berserk. Even you would choose to remain silence as you know that once you open up, you will be threaten with word "break-up".
Who wants to break up anyway?
There are times you're trapped in a capsule. This capsule makes you so isolated from the world around you. You have a lot of thoughts. Your hidden ego forbids to share your thoughts with anyone.
Once you're in that capsule, you wish that the very person could know how you feel without spilling it out. You wish that he could take initiative to make the relationship slightly better. Because you're tired sometimes.
I think I should stop complaining. At least I have one and other exes. Okay, i think it's about time to put my eyeliner on and wear my blond wig...because I'm channeling into Avril Lavigne and singing my favourite song....

- Sleep early please.
- Eat on time.
- What are you doing?
- Why you're still outside at this hour?

Through this nagging, being sons and daughters, we will come to realization, that our mothers meant a lot to us.

Teresa Teng: Still Loved, Still Resonate
It was that cloudy morning that I will never forget.
On that very morning, my mom just came back home from sundry shop which was located behind my home. Once she stepped into the living hall, she was looking at the front page for quite a while. She sat down and said with her shocking but yet composed tone "she's dead...Teresa Teng is dead"
Twenty years ago yesterday, Chinese community around the world was shocked in disbelief to learn that the legendary Teresa Teng has left us at such young age. Though I was quite small back then but I knew who she was.
Ever since I was small, I mean very very small, my mom would always hum "Tian Mi Mi" by Teresa Teng. She also shared the never ending stories of Teresa Teng. She told me that Teresa Teng was that famous that no matter which corner of the earth you might be, as long there was a Chinese community, you would hear the beautiful songs by Teresa.
Twenty years has passed, her fame still lives on. Her beautiful and pleasant face is still fondly remembered by millions in Asia and around the world. Even my non-Chinese friends know who she was. I believe every Chinese on this Earth is able to sing her "The Moon Represents My Heart".
I am proud to admit that I'm big fan of her. You may say I'm outdated or an uncle for listening to her songs but until now, I could not find any Chinese singer who has the voice which similar to Teresa ( the closest will be Faye Wong). Really, I'm hypnotised by her voice. Let me describe her voice this way; her voice is like a gentle stream flowing through the meadow. Her voice is like weeping but with strength. Her voice is so flawlessly clear and so soft and so whispery.
Old uncle for listening her songs? I'm not the only one. Many modern idols were inspired by her. Faye Wong, Jay Chou, David Tao, Karen Mok, Sammi Cheng and among many others.
Faye Wong commemorated Teresa Teng death anniversary in 2013 in Weibo with this line "Thank you for having there. May your beauty live on".
Remember how Jay Chou revived Teresa in his concert using technology display? He expressed his wish in the concert "I once imagined that if I could turn back time to 30 years ago to sing a song with her, it will be a great honour".
Though her passing was way too soon but Teresa left a legacy which is irreplaceable. Twenty years and even a century more, Teresa Teng's songs will continue to echo.
Since this entry is all about her, let me share some of my personal favourites:

May Day! May Day!
Few days ago, I was dining with my friend at Ming Hoe Hokkien Noodle. Apparently, this humble shop at Jalan Ipoh was quite famous with rave reviews from the foodies. It was really tasty for me coz its food was laden with lard. All those deathly ingredients could make everything so tasty.
You see, I'm not picky when it comes to food. The thumb of rule is that the dining place cannot be stuffy and the dishes cannot be the same as yesterday.
Next road trip, Fraser Hill. The journey to go and back was not a pleasant one but the weather was awesome at the top of Fraser Hill. Greyish sky with cold blowing breeze, just love it.
Aside from trip, i refused to head back to my hometown (thank god I did since it took 6 hours just to go back to Ipoh- you can imagine the jam) since I had an invitation for a wedding reception of my beloved gal pal. Heartiest congrates to both of them!
Anyway, it was rather funny when I ordered the food. I was asking the lady boss for her recommended dishes.
Since I was that liberal, I asked my friend whether he was fine with the recommended food.
"Hokkien mee with stewed pork, ok?" I asked.
"Ok", he nodded.
"Wat tan hor, ok?" I asked.
"Ok", he nodded,
"Aiyah, no need to ask him la. He will say yes to everything one", the lady boss said.

I ain't no primadonna right?
I feel frustrated sometimes when I come into a situation that I don't have any idea on what to eat. Ask people around me, they will surely say "up to you la, anything"
I'm really looking forward to a restaurant named "anything".
But seriously, I have been making so many decisions in my work, I wish that when it comes to small matters like having a meal, someone could decide for me. Or at least give me some suggestions.
I need a breather in making decisions. I'm not sure people around me see me as the most qualified decision maker. I don't see myself as decision maker actually coz it takes helluva self-confidence to make that call.
Enough of my ranting. How was your four-day break? Mine was good, at least I had enough of sleep. Though I didn't have any overseas trip (which I have been longing for) but I did two road trips throughout the long weekend.
First, Seremban/Port Dickson. It was my maiden trip to Seremban. Verdict? It was rather quiet and really quiet. I believe Ipoh is more happening than Seremban.
The only thing we did there was having Seremban Siew Pao and that's it.
Since there wasn't anything to do in Seremban, we headed down to Port Dickson. It was not a pleasant trip in PD. Why? The roads there were infested with Mat Rempit. I really hope that I could be some sort of sniper - joining another team of snipers and kill them all off like a game.

But eventually, we managed to catch the beautiful sunset at PD beach |
We had seafood as well - Nestum prawns, my favourite! But talking about prawns, there's no place could beat Tanjung Tualang in Perak |
Since we were in Seremban, yeah, that's why..we ordered Fu Yong egg |
Next road trip, Fraser Hill. The journey to go and back was not a pleasant one but the weather was awesome at the top of Fraser Hill. Greyish sky with cold blowing breeze, just love it.
The road up to the hill is very very long and winding-it took almost one hour just to reach the peak |
But first, please stop by at the Sungai Selangor Water Dam. The view is simply magnificent |

I think it was a Twilight-inspired wedding hehe |
